Alan Ayckbourn's hilarious festive treat!

It's Christmas-time at the Hopcrofts and the only present they want is to succeed in scaling the social ladder. Havoc ensues at the festive drinks party they hold to impress their high-powered friends - but thats nothing compared to what happens at the next two Christmases when the friends return their hospitality.

Featuring an all-star cast including Jane Horrocks best loved for playing the hilariously ditsy 'Bubbles' in the hit comedy Absolutely Fabulous; Jenny Seagrove known to millions as barrister Jo Mills in the BBC TV's most watched drama series Judge John Deed; John Gordon Sinclair celebrated for his iconic performance in Gregory's Girl and numerous TV comedies. David Horovitch, prolific character actor known for his frequent TV appearances in Midsommer Murders and Peak Practice. David Bamber best known as Mr Collins in BBC's Pride and Prejudice who also starred in the highly acclaimed TV series Rome and Olivier, Tony and BAFTA 'Best Actress' nominee Lia Williams.

A classic comedy with outrageous characters - this is Ayckbourn at his best.

Garrick Theatre
Garrick Theatre - Designed in 1889 by Emden and Phipps and named for David Garrick the great 18th century actor, the Garrick has long been associated with farce and comedy. Notable successes have included:  A Pair Of Spectacles,  The Merry Wives Of Windsor,  Love On the Dole,  Fings Ain't Wot They Used T' Be, and No Sex Please, We're British.  Comedy continued off-stage when Bouncer, the theatre cats, was named as a shareholder.  In company with a number of other London theatres, the Garrick is said to have a resident ghost.  Early this century the theatre's lessee had an apartment at the top of a flight of stairs which led directly from the stage.  His ghost is said to sometimes descend this phantom staircase to give actors a good-luck pat on the shoulder.
If you can't find the seats you are looking for it doesn't necessarily mean the show is sold out.
